In a significant move, appointments have commenced in the municipal corporations of Chhattisgarh. Guru Khushwant Sahib has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Development Authority, receiving the status of a Minister of State.
The announcement was made via an order issued by the General Administration Department of the ministry.
Additionally, Gomti Say has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Surguja Development Authority. The legislator from Marwahi has been designated as the Vice Chairman for the Central Region, while Lata Usendi will serve as the Vice Chairman of the Bastar Development Authority. Lalit Chandraakar, the legislator from Durg Rural, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Backward Classes Development Authority.
